Our Managing Director and founder, Joel Castle, is no stranger to the construction & development industry. With over 20 years of experience, Joel has worked as a principal contractor, manager, advisor, and developer across a broad range of fields with national mid-tier and international top-tier construction and development groups.
After graduating from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Construction Management (Building) and first-class honours, Joel participated within a cadetship hosted by one of Newcastle's leading cost control consultancy groups, establishing a strong commercial focus. Going on to work for trusted names in the industry such as Build Corp and Leighton Asia.
Off the back of an exciting head contractor journey, Joel created CASTLE in 2011, an independently owned, client-side Project and Development Management company within the construction and property industry.
Ten years on, Joel has launched a new and exciting venture in 2022 dedicated to delivering project management solutions for the entire property development cycle. BEM Group act as strategic Property Development partners to clients from a wide variety of industry sectors and are committed to breathing life into projects that create the settings for human activity and shape the built environment for the better.
