BEM Group is thrilled to show you the completed Covered Outdoor Learning Area (COLA) that has been installed at Heritage College, Lake Macquarie. In this project BEM took on the role of design & procurement management, project management and superintendency, working closely with the College to fulfill the brief and deliver a beautiful outcome.

This COLA provides the students, staff and school community with a multi-functional outdoor learning space, a basketball court, and a presentation stage, supported by state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment. The COLA fits seamlessly within the existing school grounds, complimenting the existing school buildings on the site.

For the College, the benefits of this year-round, all-weather space will be felt for generations to come as they enjoy the increased engagement that outdoor education creates.
