THE ROLE

BEM Group is targeting a Front-End Client-Side Senior Project Manager to join our Newcastle team.

The position offers ownership, collaboration, autonomy, and management of delivering exciting projects with key partners.

We are seeking a bold decision maker and strong communicator to provide a senior level of service that our clients are accustomed to.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

We consider design, social, economic, and environmental factors to manage project complexities that create the settings for human activity. A strong fit would be reflected through the following experience:

• Front-end client-side project management
• Tertiary qualification in project management
• Project Initiation phase
• Statutory & authority planning and approvals management
• Design management
• Head contract tendering
• Procurement strategy
• Project Management Office

PREFERRED SKILLS

Key Tasks

• Working closely with Director + established PCG & stakeholder groups
• Establish & manage front-end Value Engineering Studies (VES) through to conversion of DA & CC designs
• Managing client feasibility studies through design, time, cost and risk
• Drive project initiation, planning & definition and procurement phases
• Group internal project reporting and front-end PCG
• Service our delivery project managers with consistent & transparent narrative to achieve client objectives
